Inbound Receipt in Etendo: the window that transforms your warehouse
Can you imagine receiving goods from multiple suppliers simultaneously, managing pallets, boxes, or units from a single screen, with total traceability? With the new inbound receipt window in Etendo, it’s now possible.
This feature, included from version 3.5.0 of the Warehouse Extensions bundle (compatible with Etendo 25.4 and later), marks the beginning of a series of enhancements in advanced warehouse management. Designed especially for companies in the logistics and distribution sector, it enables smarter, more accurate, and automated control of stock intake.
What is the inbound receipt in Etendo?
The inbound receipt in Etendo is a new window that allows you to consolidate the reception of products from different purchase orders, even from different Business Partners. This unified approach reduces manual steps, streamlines processes, and avoids common errors from fragmented receptions.
With a single click, you can import lines from multiple orders and adjust quantities or units based on the goods actually received. This makes it easy to manage partial receipts, returns, or unit conversions (e.g., boxes instead of loose units).
Advantages for logistics and distribution
More efficient multiple receipts
Centralizing the intake of products from different orders drastically improves reception times especially in high-volume distribution centers.
Traceable logistics units
Do you receive products in pallets or boxes? Etendo allows you to define logistics units and register each container as a referenced unit with attributes like product, batch, and expiration date. This ensures complete traceability from warehouse entry to dispatch.
Barcode generation and printing
The system generates GS1-128 barcodes for each logistics unit, encapsulating data like product, batch, and expiration. You can print labels directly from the window, optimizing both physical and digital merchandise labeling.
Mobile validation with Etendo Mobile
Thanks to its integration with Etendo Mobile, receiving tasks can be performed directly from a mobile device, validating each item using the device’s camera. This speeds up operations and minimizes human error.
What version is it available from?
The inbound receipt in Etendo is available from version 3.5.0 of the Warehouse Extensions bundle, compatible with Etendo 25.4 or higher. From this version onward, you can access the window at:
Warehouse Management > Transactions > Inbound Receipt
